In Loving Memory
June 21, 1943 – May 6, 2018
George Roland Otto, III, age 74, a native of Philadelphia, PA and a resident of Monroeville, AL, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at a local hospital. George was an EMT for 20 years, and was a law enforcement Deputy Sheriff in Autauga County. He also got to drive a tour bus for Ted Nugent and Aerosmith. George was a very generous and very caring man. He loved to make people laugh. He was known to be a “jokester” and always had a joke for everything. He loved his family and especially his rottweiler fur baby, Foxie.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George Roland Otto, Jr. and Evelyn Marie Loebe Otto; and one brother, William Phillip Otto. He is survived by one sister, Carol Hudson, of Monroeville, AL; nephew, Todd Gamache (Tonja), of Forth Worth, TX; nieces, Ronda Reese (Morgan) of Austin, TX and Kendra Strother (Cody) of Pace, FL; 14 great nieces and nephews; and especially his beloved great-niece Emmi, whom he lovingly called “Smoochie”.
