David Richardson Parker
May 13, 1956 – September 10, 2018
With his eyes fixed upon Heaven, David Richardson Parker, age 62, a native of Philadelphia, Mississippi and resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 10th. He is survived by his spouse of 15 years, Darlene Amarant Parker; his step-daughter, Misty Lynn Rondeau Theisen (Alan) of Weaverville, North Carolina; and his brother-in-law, Bill O. Lea of Madison, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Tina Sue Parker Lea and James Stephen Parker; as well as his parents, Billie Earl and J.C. Parker. David was a direct descendant of S. Harrison and W.W. “Bill” Richardson, two founders of the world famous Neshoba County Fair, originating in 1889.
David was a graduate of Fairhope High School (1974), Southwest Technical College (1978), and worked for over thirty years in the office machine repair industry. His hobbies included boating, swimming, and home DIY repair. He was a dedicated sports fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and was proud to achieve perfect attendance at Mississippi’s Giant House Party.
Services will be held at Grace Fellowship of Fairhope, 19993 County Road 33, Fairhope, Alabama on Thursday, September 13th at 12 Noon with visitation beginning at 11 AM. David will be laid to rest at the Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers make donations to helphopelive.org and please consider becoming an organ donor.
