Later in life he converted to Catholicism and enjoyed studying the Bible and watching Les Feldick on his computer daily.

Julie, you took great care of your Daddy. I know he will be missed. Praying for comfort in the days, weeks, and even years to come.
I am sorry to hear about Charles. We were graduates of Murphy High School Class of ’59. I also knew his mother-in-law Millie Salter very well as we worked together at Brookley AFB and the Army Corps of Engineers. My deepest sympathy to Charles’ family and friends.
Julie, we all know that your Dad is finally with that beautiful mother of yours and both are at peace. We pray for you and your family during these trying times and that in time God will help ease the pain. Thank you for all you did for him.
Thank you so much
