Linda & Crash, just know that Joe loved you guys so much. He loved talking to you, I remember him singing happy birthday on your phone and how much he laughed when you talked. You might have started out as my friend but you wound up being a very good friend to him too. xox

Thank you hun. You have a such a lovely family and I value our friendship and the day we “met”. I pray that you and yours will have a long, happy life filled with love and joy. I still say that little Maddie is beautiful just like her mommy…so she has the look of her daddy but I think she has your heart and soul. Hugz and Love

Thank you Mags and Alex. We’ve known each other for a very long time and I wish I could come visit “over the pond” but I can’t…but I’m there in my heart. You both are so loving and wonderful and I value our friendship. I appreciate your kind and loving words. Love, Kaye

    Kaye,
All of us here at Advanced Fluid Power are thinking of you. Joe was a great person and he will definitely be missed around here. Joe taught me everything he knew about hydraulics, and if it weren’t for him I would not be where I am at today…For that I will be forever grateful. I also know of quite a few times where he was more than willing to offer advise to me on personal issues that I was having and it really helped to ease my mind and take off some of the pressure. He was just always more than willing to help no matter what it was.
Wishing you the best during this hard time,
    Ben Key

Ben, Joe not only loved working with you he also valued his friendship with you. He loved nothing more than having friends who didn’t have a problem disagreeing with him. As you know, he loved a good “discussion” more than anything else practically. We both talked about that 4th of July this past July. We both had fond memories and laughed about that one firework. Good thing you guys didn’t set the house on fire! I know that Joe will always be looking down on you and yours as a guardian angel!

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. (Romans 14:8)

My thoughts are with you and your family. May time heal all but never touch the wonderful memories that you have.

Rest in Peace Joe, you will be missed.

John, I sorry I never got to know you but Joe did mention you a few times. I know he enjoyed talking to you. God be with you and your family. I know Joe will look over you as he will look over me and his family.

Chuck, Bobbie, Chris, Kaye and the entire Myers family – I am so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I have been sitting here remembering the square dances and listening to him calling. He had such a beautiful voice!! I also remember babysitting when the kids were little. He was a great man.
“Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen”

Julie, thank you so much for your words. After some time passes I would love to hear some stories because if you babysat the boys you must have some stories to tell me and I will want to hear them. Joe is with God now, he was at peace with himself and with the Lord and his passing was very quick and gentle. I cannot ask for more than that.
