August 24, 1947 – April 11, 2007 In Loving Memory.
Alan Tuellio Marana, age 59, born in Hermansville, MI and a resident of Daphne for the past
five years, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at a local hospital. Alan retired from Boise Cascade Co. after a 30 year career in the paper industry. Alan was an avid golfer and loved wood-working and restoring cars. He was a graduate of Michigan Technological University and attended Christ the King Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Marana, Daphne; mother, Edith Marana, Marinette, WI; daughter, Sara M. (Gary) Brightbill, Mobile; son, Nicholas Alan Marana, Chicago, IL;
sister, Amy J. (Greg) Hayden, Riverside, CA; brother, John W. Marana, Powers, MI; sister-in-law, Christine Marana, Powers, MI. 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Mark and Nathan Brightbill, all of Mobile; sister-in-law, Jean (Wayne) Sunila, Menominee, MI; brother-in-laws, James (Toni) Behrend, Powers, MI and David (Ginny) Behrend, Green Bay, WI.
To celebrate the life of Alan, a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 715 College Ave., Daphne. Burial will be in Hermansville, Michigan next month. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
