Amy Brissey Bowden, 44, of Daphne, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, with her faithful companion, Panda, by her side.

Amy was self-employed.  She was a very genuine person and was real to the core. You always knew where you stood with her.  Amy had the most beautiful eyes, and when she smiled, she smiled with her eyes. Amy loved life and always lived it to the fullest.

Amy is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Brissey, Sr. and Phyllis Morris Brissey; grandparents, William and Lucille Brissey, William Morris and Dorothy Gill.

She is survived by her loving husband, Brandy Bowden; her son, Lucas Bowden; brother, Rick Brissey; sister, Britney Rice; and a large extended family and friends.

A visitation celebrating Amy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road in Daphne, AL.

    First time I met Amy I was cutting the neighbors grass.I was talking to her husband Brandy, she walked up and introduced herself. At that point , I knew she loved life. You could tell by her to expression on her face and in her eyes, nothing was gonna get her down. She will be missed, My wife and I are lucky to have known her. She will be missed .

    Me and bubba are so lucky to have known Amy . We met when she and brandy moved in across the street and we where so excited to have awesome neighbors. We shared some fun times . She was always so funny and full of energy . She will forever missed .

    I’m so deeply saddened to hear of Amy’s passing. She was a beautiful soul, full of energy and didn’t meet a stranger. She had a huge heart and we are going to miss her so much. I’m so very sorry we weren’t able to attend her service as we are just hearing of her passing today. Our thought and prayers are with her family.
