Amy Jo Medley, of Daphne, AL, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the age of 54.
Amy enjoyed being outdoors, either working in her yard, spending time at the beach or playing with her pets. She was a member of Celebration Church, where she enjoyed going to worship with family and friends. Amy had a passion for volunteering her time and her favorite was at St. Paul’s Thrift Store. Amy’s greatest joys in life was being a wife, a mother and especially being a grandmother to her two precious grandchildren. She especially loved the time she spent playing with them.
Amy is preceded in death by her father, Henry Lawrence Jones, sister-in-law, Leslie Michelle Jones, aunt, Josephine Ann Jones and nephew, Nicholas Henry Kraus.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Brian C. Medley; children, Madeline Jade Medley, and Cameron Christopher Medley; two grandchildren, Aubrey Ann Parr and Jamison Daniel Medley; her mother, Johnnave June Jones-Handley; stepdad, Houston Franklin Handley; siblings, Sheri Kraus and Daryl Jones; and her fur-babies, Fred and Sherbert.
A service to celebration Amy’s life will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Celebration Church, 8180 Dyer Road in Fairhope, AL. at 11AM. There will be a time of visitation before the service beginning at 10AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of America at https://www.lupus.org/give/ways-to-give or Celebration Church Youth Group.

As Amy’s mother-in-law and father- in-law, we know what a wonderful wife she was to our son, Brian, and what a wonderful mother she was to our grandchildren Cameron and Madeline. Our other grandchildren Claire, Meredith, KK, Joe, Mai and Dylan lost their Aunt Amy but they all have fond memories of her.
