I’m really missing her!! 😢💔 I’m looking forward to seeing her again in the new paradise!! And may her husband and twin boys be strong and stand in the faith of Jehovah God in these last days!! 🙏🙏🙏

We remember Amy not only for the laughter she brought into every room, but for the courage carried into every cause. She was the person who refused to look away when someone needed help, the voice that spoke up when silence felt easier, and the steady presence that reminded us that compassion is a form of strength.

Her advocacy wasn’t abstract — it was lived. It showed up in the way she listened, the way she fought for fairness, in her own struggles with SC and the way she believed people with Sickle Cell deserved dignity simply because they existed.

Though her voice is no longer here, her impact echoes in every life she touched.
May her memory be a blessing, a guide, and a reminder that one life can truly make a difference.

    Love to the Family,

    Adrene Clarke-Williams

Girl, I was rushing hoping I had enough time to send some yellow roses for your service and saw that you’d prefer a donation instead…so I did just that. Donated the amount it would’ve cost to send you a dozen yellow roses. I’m missing you Amy. Rest well!

Amy.. your knowledge and wisdom will be truly missed.. you were and will always be remembered with the sickle cell family as our #1 advocate. God must have needed a leader to help with his soldiers. Because when he called you home the sickle cell family really felt it. I pray for strength for your husband and the Cooley twins.. they will remember how strong, beautiful, outspoken and awesome you were! Sending all the love & hugs from Pensacola Fla.

I will say goodbye to your flesh but your energy remains. Throughout your twins and Justin. She is never truly gone as her energy and love remain. We aren’t called warriors for nothing.

Amy you were the person that made my cards list what I was trying to do for our SC warriors, you contacted me when I as so sick and did not send out cards for over three months and you were the one that contacted me over and over to see what was going and if I was ok after not finding me on social media and you ask if everything were alright, thank for your concern about me. Iwill miss you so much and I pray you rest safely in the arm of our Lord Jesus Christ, I will miss all the pictures of the boys and see them grow year after year. Justin my heart is hurting for you and the boys and my prayers will always be for you all and her family. ♥️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.

Amy, this one hurts! Even though we have never met in person you have had such an impact on me and my daughter’s lives. My daughter is the first person in the family to have SC and you gave us so much information and let us know what to do and what not to do. I’m still in disbelief. When I got the news I literally lost my breath and had to take a seat. It felt like losing my favorite cousin all over again! Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me and my daughter! Prayers for your husband and the twins!

One of the coolest, bravest, and most dedicated warriors that I never had the privilege to meet in person. Your story is so similar to many of us, and yet it is uniquely yours. I extend my condolences to your family, friends, and those who were closest to you.

Amy……. It’s so hard to believe you’re gone! Over the years I’ve watched you go from being a warrior, to a wife and then adding being a mom to the list all of which you did superbly. You fought an unimaginable fight love and although we weren’t ready God surely said WELL DONE MY DAUGHTER!
You’re with your baby girls and Mom now watching over the loves you left behind. Thank you for allowing me to be a distant auntie to Mason and Maverick…….I pray that I continue to be as I truly love them…… They’ll always be my nephews as you will always be my sickle cell sister.
I love and miss you beautiful 🌹💜

To the Cooleys: I am still speechless. I had to check several sources on Facebook before I believed that you were really gone. It hurt then… and it hurt now…. The sickle cell community is really going to miss you Amy. I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for our mental health… just having someone to talk to that understood what it was all about.. May you get the rest that you so deserved. We love you Amy and will miss you dearly.
