Angela Dawn Barnett, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the age of 52.
Angela attended Fairhope High School. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician. In her spare time, she enjoyed going on lunch dates with friends, watching Alabama football, building puzzles and painting. She got such joy in celebrating others and giving surprise gifts to the people she loved, always making others feel loved and appreciated. She enjoyed attending church at City Hope. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Angela is preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Louise Barnett and Thomas Layne Barnett.
She is survived by her daughter, Adison Barnett; son-in-law, Maurice Smith; her grandchildren, Lennox Smith and Ella Clare Smith; siblings, Theresa Neal and Brian Barnett; and other special family members, Daniel Neal, Katie Barnett, Emmie Barnett, Cameron and Kara Douglas, Blake and Shelby Douglas.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road in Daphne, AL, at 11AM. There will be a time of visitation before the service, beginning at 10:30AM. There will be a reception and a time of fellowship following the service.

I have been the Barnetts neighbor for over 30 years. I moved in next to them back in 1985 I have watched them all grow and have been thankful and proud to be their neighbor. I watch Angela from the time she used to race around Daphne on her scooter. to when she had her beautiful baby girl Addison. I watch both of them grow until Addison found her prince and move away. She lost her mother who took as good of care of me as I tried to do for them. Now she has joined her wonderful mother Nana in a better place, and I know with everything that went on these last few months she can finally rest until we all see them again.

I been knowing Angela since I was a little girl.. She always been my family.. She stayed either joking with me and nothing but a good time with her.. She was my brother best friend.. she will be terribly missed… I hope her family knows that she left a mark on everyone that came in contact with her.. my girl as you call me.. will miss you and love you..

I have very fond memories of Angela when she worked at Medicap Pharmacy as a tech. She was an exceptional pharm tech, dependable, honest and hard working. I remember how proud she was of Adison and always had pictures to show us. My heart is broken for her family. Prayers for comfort and strength. RIP Angela
