In Loving Memory

January 26, 1939 – December 4, 2015

Ann Adele Fisher Street, longtime resident of Fairhope, AL went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, December 4, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family.  Ann was born in Tuscaloosa, AL and raised in Birmingham, AL where she graduated from Ensley High School in 1957.  After graduation, she moved to Fairhope, Al where she met and married the love of her life “H.V.” in 1958 and they have shared the past 57 years together. Ann worked for 48 years, most of which were for State Farm Insurance Company.  The greatest joys in her life were her family and her church family.  Her favorite things were taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved them unconditionally.  She loved spending time with her 3 sisters (they loved to laugh). And she loved to GO with her husband anywhere anytime.  Her other love was for her Church family at Barnwell Baptist Church and First Baptist Fairhope. If the doors were open, she wanted to be there. The church was her extended family. She was preceded in death by her precious son, Mark Timothy “Ty” Street and parents, Mark Marion Fisher and Callie Lorene Fisher

She is survived by her husband, of 57 years, H.V. Street, Jr.; son, Hilliard Vaughn Street, III; daughter, Tamora Ann Street Kaurudar; grandchildren, Hilliary Street, Philip Street, Thomas Kaurudar and Timmi-Ann Kaurudar; sisters, Carol Love, Betty Suddeth and Marian Fisher;  brothers-in-law, Buddy Street (Elizabeth), Clifford Street (Jean) Harold Street Sr. (Cathy), all of Fairhope and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, December 7, 2015, at Barnwell Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am.  Officiating will be Rev. Bob Tucker.  Burial will be in Brook-Cedron Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Barnwell Baptist Building Fund, 7920 US-98 ALT, Fairhope, AL 36532.   Expressions of condolence may be offered at

I am so sorry for your loss. Ann Street was a fantastic lady and my Dad (Henry Austin) was proud to count her and the rest of your family as his friends. I’m sure that he welcomed her as she entered Heaven’s gates.
I pray that the warmth of God’s love embraces you and that the sweet memories of her life comfort you through the sadness.
    With deepest sympathy,

I knew Ann several years ago from her working with State Farm. She was a loving and special person. I lost touch with her, but always thought of her fondly. She loved her family so much. Saying a prayer today for all of you.
