Anna Katherine “Kaki” Fleming of Montrose died April 10, 2016. Kaki, a retired Montessori teacher, was an artist, master gardener and a faithful member of the Baha’i Faith. She belonged to MHS, ESAC and was a founding member of MISCA. She will be missed by all. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Bodden.

She is survived by her children, Mark Fleming of California, Matthew Fleming of Mobile, Steve (Darla) Fleming of Mobile and Alissa (Harry) Johnson of Fairhope; grandchildren, Winter Knowles, Joseph Fleming, Connor Floyd and Katherine Johnson; seven great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Rosie’s Grill in Daphne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity. Expressions of condolence may be offered at Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL.

    Kaki was such a sweet and kind humanist. She kept me laughing and was a good friend. My condolences to her family, which she spoke of kindly and often.
