Arturo Salas, a native of Robstown, Texas and a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the age of 78.

Mr. Salas proudly served in the United States Army.

Mr. Salas is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Josie Ibarra. He is survived by his siblings, Lucy Nuetzel, Oscar Salas, Julio Salas, Lydia Allen, Eduardo Salas and Bertha Salas.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10AM, at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, 34904 Hwy. 225 in Spanish Fort, AL. Everyone please meet at the cemetery at 9:45 AM.
