Bert was a positive force in this world of trouble. He helped me and others overcome great difficulties. I am selfishly sorry to see him leave us. He was such a good man.
Bert was in my court many times. He was an outstanding attorney and he represented his clients with great professionalism.
He will be missed by all of us. May he rest in peace.
He was a great man.
Bert and I were in law school together and had a long friendship. He was an excellent lawyer and a loyal friend. He helped many people in his law practice. He also
set a remarkable example of enduring a difficult disease through his faith. Sam Crosby
My husband and our family go way back with Bert, and there are some pretty funny stories that we will forever cherish. Bert was our go to, even with silly things. He had the biggest heart, even though he would always tell me not to let that rumor get out, and his patience was unwavering. My heart is broken, but my life is all the better for having known this amazing man, and have been able to call him friend.
Bert inspired, believed in and helped so many people, I being one of them, I will never forget all he taught and did for me, until we meet again Captain, fair winds and following seas.
