Beverly Hill Furniss, age 91, formerly of Selma, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 at a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Furniss had been a resident of Spanish Fort for 17 years. She was the past Alabama State President of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America. Survivors include her son, John N. Furniss, Wilmington, NC; a daughter, Emory F. Maxwell, Phoenix, AZ and two grandchildren.

Graveside services with interment will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, AL. Local arrangements are by Hughes Cremation & Funeral Services
