Beverly Ann Smith, 82, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 in Daphne, AL. She was a kindergarten teacher at St. Catherine’s in Milwaukee, WI where she had lived for 45 years. She was born in Bowbells, ND and was also a resident in Duluth, MN were she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in social work. She had a graduate degree in teaching from Alverno College in Milwaukee.  She spent the last years of her life with her family in Daphne, AL.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Lillian Nicolson; her husband, Lloyd Wayne Smith and her sister, Joyce Johnson.

She is survived lovingly by her daughters, Tracy Smith and Carrie Dawes; brothers and sister-in-law, Doug and Rose Smith; niece Nikki Smith: grandchildren, Erika Stuckas and Kyle (Crystal) Smith; great grandchildren, Sam, Jack, Catherine and Lily; and other relatives and friends.

    I taught with Bev at St. Catherine’s. I remember her for her humor and generosity.

    I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My first teaching position was at St. Catherine’s and Bev was my go-to girl! I have many fond memories to cherish! They make me smile when I think of her!
