Blaise-Benedict Michael Maximilian Ledet, a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Baldwin County, AL, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the age of 30.
Blaise was a graduate of Bayside Academy, where he played basketball, baseball, and football. He also graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Biology. Blaise wore many hats when it came to work; he was an entrepreneur, landscaper, and contractor. He was very involved in the community with Young Professionals of Mobile, JH Outback, First Light Community of Mobile, Junior Board of the Exploreum and various charitable organizations. In his spare time, he loved playing golf, cooking, and watching Alabama football. He was an avid pool player and fisherman. But he mostly loved time enjoyed with family and friends.
Blaise, with his loving and caring heart, never met a stranger; he was everybody’s best friend. His smile was infectious and would make everyone’s day. A selfless, compassionate giver, he loved to share his time and home with all. His jokes, dance moves, laughs, and positivity will always be remembered.
Blaise is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ralph John Perry, his paternal grandfather, Ewid Ledet, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Betty Bodamer; and uncle, Ewid J. Ledet, III.
He is survived by his father, Dr. Mike Ledet (Toni); mother, Linda Susann Perry; maternal grandmother, Susan Mae Norrell Perry; paternal grandfather, Charles H. Bodamer; siblings, Bri Ledet Puckett (Amos) and Peter Ledet; nephew, Grayson Amos Puckett; his furry-son, Gumbo; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members and countless friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Belforest Pointe, 26503 Highway 181, in Daphne, AL, at 3:00PM. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation before the service beginning at 1:00PM until the service time. There will be a reception following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to First Light Community of Mobile (formerly L’arche Mobile) at https://firstlightcommunity.org/donate-now.
