Tribute

BMC Tommy Reynolds, U.S. Navy (Ret) was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at the age of 51.

Tommy was born on July 2, 1969 in Lamesa, TX to Shirly Reynolds Sides and James Albert Reynolds.

He was a son, brother, incredible loving husband, proud amazing father of 2, wonderful son-in-law, friend, and mentor to many.

Honor courage and commitment:
He served with distinction for 24 years (1993-2017) in the U.S. Navy. Some of the best years of his life. His last ship was the U.S.S. Independence built in Mobile, AL, which brought him to Spanish Fort, Alabama

In civilian life, Tommy was a Crew Training Instructor III at Austal U.S.A. (2017-2021). He loved his work and his family there.

He loved to travel and cook. He was adventurous, smart, and funny. When he smiled his eyes would sparkle and you could tell he had a very unique soul. He touched many lives and filled many voids. He was bigger than life to many people.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Terry Sides.

Tommy is survived by his wife, LaRonda Reynolds; his son Jacob Reynolds; his daughter, Crystal Reynolds; mother, Shirly Sides, father, James Reynolds; brother, Randall Reynolds; mother-in-law Marian Gates; along with other family members and friends.
