Brian Curry Clements, 68, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 in Daphne, AL.  A native of Mobile, AL, he was a long-time resident of Chattanooga, TN.  He was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1974 and obtained the rank of SSGT as an Air Traffic Controller while serving in the Vietnam War.  After his military service, he continued as an air traffic controller at Lovell Field, Chattanooga until 1981 when he entered the restaurant business.  He worked as a national franchise director until his retirement in 2013 at which time he moved to Gulf Shores, AL. Brian had a keen sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Murphey Clements; parents, Donald Robert and Frances Clements, Mobile, AL; and brother, Donald Robert Clements, Jr., Houston, TX. 

Survivors include his sons, Brian “Curry” (Barbie) Clements, Jr. of Clanton, AL; Michael (Mistie) Clements, Matthew (Ronda Lowrance) Clements, Bruce (Julie Fuller) Clements, all of Chattanooga; two granddaughters, Logan Clements, Auburn, AL and Adelin Clements, Chattanooga; brother, Bruce (Nelda) Clements of Lillian, AL; and sister, Beverly (Arthur) Womack of Canton, GA.  He is also survived by his friend, Sherryl Hebert, Daphne, AL.

A graveside service will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, September 12, at 1:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, AL.
