Calvin Darrell Mixon, a native of Pensacola, Florida and a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the age of 63.
Calvin graduated from Troy State University as a Certified Public Accountant. He enjoyed a long and successful career helping others with their finances. He loved people and numbers and never met a stranger. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by all who loved him.
Calvin is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Page and Sue Mixon; grandmother, Clara Petty and great-grandmother, Eliza Godwin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Pamela Jordan Mixon; his children, Caleb Mixon, Blake Mixon, Emilee Mixon and Landon Brown, all of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Clayton (Zita) Mixon; niece, Kaitlin Mixon; nephew, Paul Bryant Jordan; and his dog, Toby.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road in Daphne, AL. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends beginning at 11AM, followed by the service at 12PM. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.

I love you my sweet Cousin brother. I’ll miss you forever. You were always my buddy as kids. We played everyday till we were so tired we could barely eat and get a bath before our nightly trip to see the boats come in while eating our nightly hot Krispy Kreme doughnut. The days and nights on the fishing pier and nights of Floundering were some of the best days of my life.
