Candace Dawn Wagner, 68, passed away, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born in Pensacola, FL and lived there all of her life. She was employed as book keeper for a local building supply store. With her great sense of humor, she could make anyone laugh over just about anything. She loved her family and her pets and enjoyed watching Florida Gator Football. She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas J. Wagner and Edith Clara Jurgemeyer Wagner.
Surviving are her children, Brandon Hartjen of Pensacola and Heidi Hartjen DeGraaf and her husband, Doug of Fairhope, AL; her brother, Douglas M. Wagner of Pensacola and her sisters, Susan Strohl and Janae Pelham and her husband, Scott, all of Pensacola; her grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Charlotte and Swede DeGraaf, all of Fairhope and Savannah Hartjen of Pensacola; her precious fur baby, Cuda and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Candace’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 333 Commerce St, Pensacola, FL 32507. Officiating will be Pastor Christopher Cole and Pastor Robert Rupp. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Candace’s name to the Lupus Foundation of American, www.lupus.org or to the Pensacola Humane Society, www.pensacolahumane.org.
