Carlie Gabrielle Payne, a native of Fairhope, AL and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 28.

Carlie was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She was born and raised in Fairhope, Alabama, but attended high school at Westbrook Christian School in Rainbow City, Alabama. 

Carlie was truly one of a kind.  She loved to sing karaoke and hang out with her friends.  She was always the life of the party, if she was there, you knew it. She could make anyone laugh, even if it wasn’t the time for laughter.  She had a big heart and was the best friend you never knew you needed.

Carlie is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Nellie Hayes; grandmother, Carolyn Ward; grandfather, Rickie Ward; great aunts, Darlene Hayes and Julie Brown; and niece, Maxine Payne.

She is survived by her 8-year-old daughter, Rylee Silva; her parents, Christopher Payne and Melanie Payne; her siblings, Caitlin Kelly (Matthew), Cody Payne and Christopher Payne; her grandparents, Dean Howard (Tom); her parents from Big Oak Ranch, Darin and Lisa Moseley and their daughter, Abigail Baxley; her very special aunt, Judy Perry; nieces and nephews, Caiden Payne, Grayson Payne, Lemon Rose Kelly; and many other family members and friends.

A service to celebrate Carlie’s life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road in Daphne, AL.  There will be a time of visitation beginning at 11AM, followed by the service at 12:30PM.
