Carol McDonald Jackson, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the age of 76.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL. There will be a time of visitation before the service, beginning at 10AM, followed by the service at 11AM. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, AL.

Carol Sue and I became friends at age 13. We spent our teen years, doing the usual things teenager girls dud. did in the early 60’s. I believe we were each other’s true first friends.The first thing we discovered about the other was our favorite color was
lavender. The friendship was sealed at that point – or so it seemed. We were not always in touch especially when Carol Sue was so ill for a very long time. We finally connected and I was able to visit a couple times. We enjoyed our time together. She will always occupy a part of my heart. A memory is Carol could
remember what we wore when we did whatever we were reminiscing about. We are connected by our souls – I know we will see each other again.
I’m saddened by your loss, our loss, as a friend of Carol’s. I know I’ll miss her friendship very much. We laughed so together, prayed for one another and cherished one another too. She loved her family very much, spoke of all of you all the time. RIP sweet Carol. God bless you all.
