Carolyn McGhee, 74, a native of Tampa, FL and a resident of Daphne, AL died Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Mrs. McGhee had been employed by Marshall’s Distribution Center for 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Betty Risher. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerry; children, David and Scott McGhee; grandchildren, Trevor, Brittani and Emily. She is also survived by her siblings, Larry, Bill, Bob, Rene, Denny, John T., Jay and by many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2pm till the service at 3:30pm on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL with her brother, Pastor Bill Risher officiating. Inurnment will be in Judson Cemetery, Poarch, AL at a later date.

Such a beautiful lady. I was honored to call her my friend as well as a coworker for many years. We had lots of great times together. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.
