In Loving Memory
October 18, 1921 – November 20, 2017
Carrie Barron Landreneau, a native of Louisiana, died in Daphne, Alabama on November 20, 2017 at the age of 96.
Carrie was a gifted and professional seamstress for over 50 years, and her expertise in quilting, knitting and crocheting produced exceptional handmade quilts, bedspreads, and afghans that will be treasured by her family for generations to come.
Carrie was the widow of Norris Pierre Landreneau. She was preceeded in death by her brothers Corwin, Riley and Paul Floyd Barron, and her twin sister Cora Veade. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Lillian (Thomas) Rupert, her daughter Maria Landreneau Curow, grandson Chris (Patty) Curow, and great-grandsons Thomas Curow, and Kyle, Kody and Sam Ehlers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and she will be inurned in the family mausoleum in New Orleans, Louisiana. Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.hughesfh.com. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL.
