Charles Otis Malone, better known as “Butch,”  exchanged life for eternity on Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of Citronelle, AL, but his heart belonged to Tennessee.

Butch was a retired carpenter and avid outdoorsman and athlete. In his younger days, you could find him with his cousins on a ballfield, rodeo circuit, local pond, or hunting. In retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, exploring the Great Smoky Mountains, building ponds, and sharing his love of the outdoors, the Braves, and Jesus with his grandsons and friends.

Butch is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Malone, and parents, Sherley and Dot Malone. 

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Chanda Malone and Christi Stringer (Jud); grandchildren, Roddy, Gabe, Gavin, and Gaines; siblings, Frances Malone and Ann Malone Blair; precious aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10 AM at Gulfcrest Baptist Church,  8415 Gulfcrest Road, Chunchula, AL.
