Charles E. Clark “Charlie”, age 71, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Thomas Hospital. Born in Joliet, Illinois, raised in Lockport, Illinois, and a Daphne resident since 1999. Retired from Caterpillar in York, Pennsylvania after over 32 years of service as an engineer. A devout Catholic and member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Charlie loved singing Irish songs, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Preceded by his parents, Wilber R. and Maxine E (nee Lane) Clark, Sr; and two brothers, Edgar and Wilbur R. Clark Jr.

Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 44 years, Elizabeth Clark; two daughters, Holleen (Colin) Dance and Robyn Clark, both from Baltimore, MD; one sister, Kathleen (Ted) Cook of Wilmington, NC; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Clark of Gassville, AR and Sharon Clark of Joliet, IL;  and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Arrangements under the direction of Hughes Funeral Home, Daphne AL.

Requiem Mass and Funeral for Charles E. Clark will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne on Tuesday, September 15.  Visitation at 10:00am.  Mass at 10:30am.  All welcome to attend Luncheon in Assumption Hall immediately after Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations sent to The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America or The American Lung Association.
