Charles Ray Mauldin passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023, at The Retreat Hospice in Mobile, AL.
Charles was a native of Elba, AL and current resident of Fairhope, AL. He was a graduate of Elba High School, served in the Army National Guard 11 years, and worked in aviation for 41 years. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church, Robertsdale and served with Baptist Disaster Relief in many locations. Charles loved being with his family and friends, fishing, gardening and sharing with others.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Eulice and Johnnie Mae Mauldin, his first wife, Betty Margaret Mauldin, three brothers, Norman, Hendrick and Gerald Mauldin, and one sister, Helen Ezell. He is survived by his spouse of 23 years, Milbra Brock Mauldin; his sister, Faye Carnley; stepchildren, Sharon Weeks, Lane Galbraith (Tabitha), and Brian Galbraith (Erin); step-grandchildren, April and Cody Weeks, and Cullen, Kane and Lily Galbraith.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Travelers Rest Cemetery in Samson, AL. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to his wife having Covid.

Mr. Mauldin will truly be missed. He was a beacon of light, and his cheerful personality was contagious. I send my condolences, prayers and love to his wife (Mrs. Milbra), family, loved ones and friends. May God continue to bless you all is my prayer.
