In Loving Memory

Charlotte Anne Moore

December 24, 1955 - September 5, 2023

Tribute

Charlotte Anne Moore, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2023, at the age of 67.  She was born on December 24, 1955, in McComb, Mississippi.

Charlotte had an adventuresome spirit that was first exhibited by her racing dirt bikes and learning to fly small planes.  Later in life she loved the beach, snorkeling and was a certified diver.  Charlotte was self-taught in the skill of dog grooming and used that skill to open, own and operate Canine Cuttery for 18 years before selling it to begin a second career as a train attendant.  She loved the idea of traveling and meeting new people.   She had the epitome of a servant’s heart and showed it in the way she loved others, especially her daughter.  Her love, laughter and her service to others is her legacy.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her father, Tom Andrews, her mother, Nellie Rae Andrews, and her sister-in-law, Edna Andrews

She is survived by her daughter, Cassie Bullock Woodall (James); her grandchildren, Juliet Anne Woodall, Ethan James Woodall, Parker Rae Woodall; siblings, Janis Gunn (Ashley, Kayla); Ray (Cathy) Andrews; Jimmy Dale Andrews; Randy (Sue) Andrews; and several nieces and nephews.

Cassie, along with friends and family, will be participating in the walk to end Alzheimer’s in November in Charlotte’s memory.  So in lieu of flowers, donations to the team can be made to Cassie or by using the following link:

Charlotte was a great friend. We always had fun, no matter what we were doing. Whether it was joining the Junior Women’s Club in Gulf Shores, grabbing dinner together, house hunting or shopping, we laughed together. I was so sad when Alzheimer’s took my friend away. I will remember Charlotte with smiles and love always 💔

Charlotte was a dedicated hard worker, but an even better friend. Charlotte & I spent many evenings in New York walking, laughing, sharing a meal & just having fun together. I enjoyed going to her home and her taking me to the beach. I must say she made THE BEST pecan pie. I will always remember my friend
