Chris was my big brother and I loved him dearly. We were very close as children and went through a lot together. Various life circumstances influenced our relationship but we both never stopped loving each other. His passing was unexpected and devastating for me. I am so proud of the life he lived especially raising 2 amazing boys. Chris grew through adversity and was always loving , kind and put others needs above his own. He was a brave, smart man. We were both very close to my grandmother (Grannie) and I know he is with her now along with our other grandparents who have passed. Chris was an organ donor and despite our tragedy he gave several others the gift of life. A true hero and I will follow in his footsteps. My father and I will grieve this loss for many days to come until we see Chris again in heaven. I love you Chris.

I am at a loss for words at the passing of my son Chris. He is sorely missed. I remember the first time I saw him as clearly as the day it happened. I know I will see him again.
Chris is proud of his family, we have had many long conversations about his love for his wife and two sons and his hopes for them. Chris succeeded despite of adversity and I love him and admire him.

Chris was my only nephew and the son of my sweet sister who preceded him in death. I was six years old when he was born, and I have so many precious memories of him and his sister Brooke. He loved his Grandaddy Alvin and spent lots of time fishing with him. Chris had a heart of gold and a personality that brought happiness and laughter to his family. Rest in peace sweet Chris.

Chris was my brother-in-law and I’m sorry he left us so soon. I know first hand that his family grieves deeply for his loss and will miss him dearly.

As a organ donor, Chris gave unselfishly of himself so others might live and I admire him for
    that decision.

My sympathies to Lisa, Alec and Will.

I was heart broken to hear of the passing of Chris. Even though it has been a longtime since we conversed or had great lunch together. I will always value the impassioned discussions we had over the many years concerning Auburn football and long distance running. Chris was truly a loyal friend that always encouraged me to push the limits of my ability. I will always be indebted to Chris and his father for helping me in business. Chris you will be missed.
