Clara H. Weeks, age 88, a native of Meridian, MS and a resident of Fairhope for over 30 years, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at a local healthcare facility.

She was an avid gardener and was a faithful, active member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon Weeks and is survived by her daughter, Martha Weeks Watkins of Fairhope; 3 grandchildren, Shannon Shepherd of Fairhope; Michael Alsup of Troy, AL and Scott Alsup of Atlanta. She has 6 grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment were held on Friday, December 21, 2007 at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer
