Cynthia Mahealani Johnston, a resident of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, passed away in Summerdale, AL on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 57.

Cynthia enjoyed gardening, raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren.  Creating a homestead was her passion, and she encouraged her children to do the same.  Her children enjoyed seeing her embrace this passion.  Above all else, Cynthia loved the Lord with all her heart and shared her faith and encouraged her children to do the same.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Johnston and her sister, Kathryn Porter.

Cynthia is survived by her three children, Jennifer of Jacksonville, OR, Anthony of Reno, NV and Michael (Felicia) of Emmett, ID; her precious grandchildren, Jonnathyn, Eliana, Johanna and Rebekah; her mother, Barbara Hunt; sister, Elizabeth Burton; brother-in-law, Mike Porter; along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at New Cooper Cemetery in Robertsdale, AL, on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 1PM.
