David Lawrence Annis, a native of Charlotte MI and a resident of Stapleton, AL, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the age of 78.
As a child, David attended school in Nasvhille, MI. He was the creator and founder of the Blind Golfers Association in Mobile. In his spare time, David enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing and was Strong Gator Fan! He also loved building and built the house his family has lived in for many years. It became a home where he and his wife raised their children, and is a special place for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to come home to.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Louise Annis and Lawrence Annis. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jann Annis; children, Dianna Lambert (John Peacock) of Stapleton, AL and Jacquelyn Kiker of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Cora Gardner (Gage), Beth Lambert Taylor Kiker, and Hunter Kiker; great-grandchildren, Lillyonna Lambert and Ryleigh Gardner; siblings, Max Converse (Cathy) of Howell, MI, Mike Converse, of Holt, MI and Judy Gruber; sister-in-law, Georgia Babcock and brother-in-law, Floyd Babcock of Eaton Rapids, MI; and his beloved Pekingese , “Sampson”.
There will be a celebration of David’s life held at the family’s home on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
