September 10, 1943 – November 23, 2018

David Wayne Banks, a native of Mountain Creek, AL and a resident of Robertsdale, AL, passed way at his home on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the age of 75.

David retired from the Selma Public School System and was the owner of Banks Plumbing and Heating.  David was a hard worker and was known and loved by everyone.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Banks and Bertha Nichols Banks; and one brother, Jerry Banks.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Suzette Banks; one son, Bradley Wayne Banks, of Robertsdale, AL; one daughter, Raina Darlene Hathcock (Scott) of Autaugaville, AL; brother, Ronnie Banks (Marlena), of Tuscaloosa, AL; sisters, Joan Banks Barber, of Maplesville, AL, Patricia Banks Gaddy (Russ) of Demopolis, AL; grandchildren, Logan, Mary Peyton, Madelyn, Heather, and Tyler; and two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Memphis; as well as other family members and friends.
