Dennis Stephen “Steve” Zeigler, a native of Galesburg, Illinois and a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on April 1, 2018 at the age of 75.
Steve began his studies at the University of Oklahoma and was there for a year, when he transferred to Oklahoma State University, where he graduated with a B.S. degree in chemical engineering. He was an avid Alabama Football fan. Steve was a beloved husband, father and brother, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Steve is survived by his wife of 22 years, Gail Zeigler; one son, Aaron (Karen) Benway, of McLean, VA; three daughters, Tracy (Chris) Rudin, of Woodbury, MN, Cory (Jonathan) Smith, of Oklahoma City, OK, and Amanda (Murat) Okandan, of Edgewood, NM; one sister, Judi Zeigler, of Farmington, NM; eleven grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman Zeigler, and Elsie Stephens Zeigler.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Pasco Home, 821 Blackburn Drive, Mobile, AL 36608. Funeral arrangements are: Visitation from 12 to 1 PM on Monday, April 9th, at Woodridge Baptist Church, followed immediately by a memorial service.
