Diane Peaches Cooper, a native of Chicago, IL and a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 64.

Diane graduated from Calumet High School, Class of 1978.  She liked to read and spend time with her friends and grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting beautiful blankets and loved trips to the casino.

Diane is survived by her husband, Damon Burroughs; two daughters, Monica Cooper and Ashley Cooper, both of Mobile, AL; three grandsons, Zion Cooper, Apollo Scott and Israel Scott; her father, Kenneth Cooper; siblings, Kevin Cooper, Keith Cooper, Cynthia Cooper, Stephanie Cooper and Bernard Cooper; and special friends, Linda Boone, Debra Jackson, Linda Johnson, Marva Payne and Carolyn.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Cooper.

No services are planned at this time. Expressions of condolences for the family may be made at www.hughesfh.com. Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.

    Diane and I were like sisters. We loved each other like family. I loved her dearly. We spoke to each other almost daily. I will miss not hearing your voice. You meant the world to me. We been knowing each other since high school. I know you are at peace now. Love you girl. Rest in Heaven

    I am shocked and lost for many many words that I were able to speak or see her as being her cousin her auntie Francis ROBERTS ; Cooper I am Francis second daughter. My name is RENEE Roberts Cooper. I want to say, I hope in heaven that our grandparents, Mr. Bob Cooper Cooper is there waiting for the granddaughter at the door be with you and I’m gonna miss you no matter what goodbye hope to see you had another place and another time.     Iam Auntie Claudette Cooper Jones, Diane, was such a sweet beautiful child whom i babysit, and loved to take to Madden Park to swing. My the grace of God,received her with open loving arms 💗❤😚. I will continue to pray for her Soul. Thank you God, for giving her to us on this blessed Earth. Thank You Jesus Christ. Amen.
