Wayne Powell, 48, of Eight Mile, AL, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in a local hospital.

Wayne had worked in the timber industry with L & A Logging as a truck driver around the Thomasville, AL area where he was born. He loved that type of work and he also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Paulette Powell; his daughter, Jasmine and his sons, Andy and Dallas, all of Pine Hill, AL; sisters, Cheryl, Virgie, Loretta and Melinda and his brothers, Ashe, Brent and Darren. He also has two step-daughters, Rachel and Madyson Baugh and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be later as arranged by the family.
