Dorothy Gump Jackson, age 97, a long-time resident of Westminster Village, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Bedford, PA and was a member of Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church.
She had co-written a Gump family genealogy book and had a deep appreciation of nature and enjoyed teaching sign language to her co-residents. She was retired from the US Dept. of Health, Education and Welfare.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Jean Field, Peter Gump, Frank Gump, Sharon New, Laurie Harvey and Robin Lenehan and other relatives and friends.
She will be buried by her husband, Jaffrey Jackson in Kansas City, MO at a later date.
