Dorothy Mae DiMaio, 84, born in Manassas, Colorado and a resident of Daphne, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011. In her early career, she worked as an executive secretary and later worked as a hairdresser and caregiver for many years. Dorothy will be remembered for loving her children and grandchildren dearly.

She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony DiMaio.

Surviving are, her son, Paul A. (Nancy) DiMaio, St. Amant, Louisiana; two daughters, Jean (Fred) Aschman, Fairhope and Toni (Bryan) Lopez, Daphne; four grandchildren, Paul, Jr., Jane, Bryton, and Emma; three great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Jr., Courtney and Collin.

A special thank you to the staff at John McClure Snook Center in Daphne and especially to Michelle and Tamika.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Officiating will be Deacon George Yeend.
