Dr. Clarence Andrew Spencer Jr., 79 a long time resident of Tuscaloosa Alabama and more recently Orange Beach, Alabama, died Monday, October 1, 2007.

Dr. Spencer was a graduate of Stetson University, The University of Tennessee, and The University of Alabama where he received a PhD in commerce and business administration. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War where he served his country faithfully. He was also a member of the United States Coast Guard.

He was a professor at the College of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama. Many students were touched by Dr. Spencer
