Edward L. Kutz (“Ted”), age 73, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in Mobile, Alabama.

Ted was born on July 25, 1952, to Sheila and Edward Kutz, who preceded him in death. He built a life defined by dedication, quiet strength, and deep love for his family.

Ted devoted 35 years of service to Virginia/Dominion Power, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment before retiring. His career was a source of pride, but his greatest joy came from his family.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Eda Mae Kutz; his children, Troy Miller, married to Amy Miller, and their son Morgan; and Stephanie Tunstall, married to Jamison Tunstall, and their son Wyatt. Ted was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he treasured time spent with those he loved most.

A private graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia on February 20, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted’s memory to The COPD Foundation or American Heart Association, honoring causes close to his health journey.
