I was fortunate to be his only sister/sibling present before during and after his death. The greatest discussion I ever had with my brother Foye was when he was in nursing home. Thank God he was still aware, awake and alert. I took that moment to make sure his soul was in order and was able to lead Foye to “Jesus Christ” as His Personal savior before he was taken home to passed away. Always remember ……….”nothing else matters except making sure your loved ones and friends finds Jesus”……….. even if it’s on his/her/their “death bed”. Yes God still honors deathbed confessions/repentances. When Foye would not listen to anyone else spiritually I sought the the Holy Spirit in me would not give up until I got through to him and he gave his heart to Christ before left for home with hospice. During his home going celebrating service this was the focal point was God still accepts “deathbed confessions” and it’s never too late to give one’s heart/soul to Christ. Never give up on your loved ones and friends. Where there is life there is hope.
