Frances Lazzari Nelson, a lifelong resident of Belforest, AL, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the age of 96.

Frances was involved in many community organizations and volunteered her time at Catholic Social Services in Robertsdale.  She was a member of the Alter Sodality, Red Hat Society, Fairhope Bowling League, and the Trentino Club.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, T.Y. Nelson; her parents, Joseph and Mary Lazzari; two sisters, Theresa Creamer and Rita Coker; and five brothers, Victor Lazzari, Joseph Lazzari, Jr., Arthur Lazzari, Vincent Lazzari and Johnny Lazzari.

She is survived by many loving family members and friends.

A memorial mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1505 Main Street in Daphne, AL, on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM.  There will be a time of visitation before the service from 10:00 AM – 10:45AM.  There will be a luncheon following the mass at the church.  All her friends and family are invited to join.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Christ the King Catholic School.
