Frances “Peanut” Peacock, 84, a native of Memphis, TN, and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. Frances is retired 37 years at Union Planters Bank.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Peacock; parents, Harry and Helen Messina; brother, Frank Messina; and sister, Rosie Ferrante.
Frances is survived by her son, Eugene “Junior” Peacock (Debra); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Moss (Cole), Samuel Peacock (Jordyn), McClain Peacock, and Blake Peacock; great-grandchildren, Emma and Paislee; siblings, Mary Pieraccini, Johnny Messina, and Connie Wheeler; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN, 38119. Inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AFA, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, www.alzfdn.org or to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, www.nationalbreastcancer.org.
