Gale Eugene Powers, age 89, of Daphne, died on Monday, February 21, 2011 at a local hospital.

He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps and was a retired iron worker from Campbell Piping.

He is survived by his wife, Theolin Henderson Powers and other family members.
