Gary Lee Bream, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Mobile. He loved Honduran mission trips, cooking, crafting and fishing. He served in the United States Navy for 23 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarance Bream and Violet Myers; daughter, Tammy Vanderplaates; sister, Doris Bream; brothers, Bill Bream, Kenneth Bream and Donald Bream.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Young Bream; daughter, Christina Burmeister; son, Brian (Karen) Bream; sisters, Arlene (John) Spenner, Emily (Francis) Lewis, Paulette (Jerry) Bolton; brothers, Philip (Carol) Bream, Ron (Carol) Bream, Bob (Betty) Bream, Dale (Alicia) Bream; three stepchildren, Ginny Helton (Ray) Casey, Dr. Gavin (Sara) Helton and Dr. Scott (Jill) Helton; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Christ Presbyterian Church, 8450 Whispering Pines Road, Daphne, AL. Rev. Gene Poll will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org. Expressions of condolence may be made to www.hughesfh.com. Gary will be in my heart forever as a generous, joyful, and loving man. May sweet memories keep you warm and time lessen your pain. Prayers are with you and your family.
