George Riley “Buddy” Low, age 74, a native of Greenville, MS and resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents James Roscoe Low, Jr and Katherine Brantley Low; two brothers, Houston Riley “Monk” Low and James Roscoe “JR” Low, III; and sister-in-law, Connie Low. Buddy is survived by his wife Linda Diane “Dee” Low; children, Deby (Robby) Shelton, Keith Low, Shannon (Scotty) Whitworth, Toni (Erik) Jones, and Sherman (Laurie) Douglas; a sister, Bettie Lu (Mickey) Childress; brothers, Charles (Cindy) Low, Joe Low, and Billy (Linda) Low; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of other loving family.

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Providence Presbyterian Church at 2320 Schillinger Rd S, Mobile. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Providence Presbyterian Building Fund or the E.A. Roberts Alzheimer’s Center, 169 Mobile Infirmary Blvd, Mobile, AL 36607.
