Extending heartfelt condolences for your tragic loss. Cherish loving memories of laughter and times spent together. Proverbs 17:22 says “a joyful heart is good medicine”, therefore, in time may those memories bring you joy and warm your heart. Grieving is not an overnight process, and you may at times find that you do not have the needed empathy, comfort and support from family and friends. One true source of comfort who is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, is our loving Heavenly Father, all we need do is approach him in prayer. Psalm 65:2 calls God the “Hearer of prayer”, and Psalm 145:18 says he “is near to all those calling on him”. God has also promised that soon death, mourning, outcry and pain will be no more (Revelation 21:4), and Acts 24:15 holds out the hope of the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death. As you grieve the loss of George, may Jehovah, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3,4), comfort you in your time of need. George you were more to me than a step dad you was also my friend that I can talk to when I didn’t have anyone to talk to you always told me to keep my head up and don’t you dare settle for less than what you deserve. You was a second father to Cameron and I really appropriate that more than you will ever know. We miss you so much words can’t describe the feelings the hurt and pain we feel now that you are gone. We will always love you. I will not tell you goodbye because it’s not goodbye its I will see you soon. I LOVE and miss you George
I am so sorry for your terrible loss. This is an especially difficult time to find comfort from anywhere. I hope you find comfort in what Our Creator promises. He promises we will soon see our loved ones again in paradise on earth. Please try to find a little time to consider the warm thoughts for you from the God of all comfort at Acts 24:15 and Revelation 21:3, 4.
