In Loving Memory
August 29, 1946 – January 10, 2017
In loving memory of Gregory Joseph Coogan (70) born in Jersey City, NJ and a resident of Robertsdale, AL for the past 11 years. He peacefully passed away in the early morning of January 10th after a long battle with heart disease.
Always living life on his terms he had a lifelong passion for cars, especially MG’s. Active in his younger years he played tennis, racquetball and bowled. He coached his kids’ baseball and soccer teams and when he slowed down a bit he picked up a pool cue whenever possible. He enjoyed working at Lowes helping customers and making friends with his co-workers.
Greg was survived by his wife, Teresa Coogan; his children, Kim Gill (John), Colin Coogan (Noel), Scot Coogan (Kelly) and Marc Coogan (Christina MacIsaac); his four grandchildren, Alexandra & Christopher Gill, Colin J. Coogan and Samantha Smith; his brothers, Kevin & Lawrence Coogan; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Alice Coogan and his daughter, Teresa.
The family would like to thank the staff at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL for taking such good care of him and making his last days as comfortable as could be.
