I am so grateful that I had you in my life. Not everybody grows up with a great-grandmother, but Nana you were one of a kind. I only hope that I could live half the life you did.

Faye and I were fortunate to know Helen for many years. We enjoyed being in her presence and having a good laugh with her. Helen had a great sense of humor and could be quite feisty. We will miss her greatly. Rest in peace “Red” and give our best to Pete.

Bob and I were very fortunate to know Helen. Linda and Henry are our neighbors. We saw and visited with Helen often. What a great, fiesta lady she was. Always with a wise crack. We had many good laughs with her. Just thinking about her brings a smile. Rest In Peace.

I knew you as Linda’s mother; we spoke briefly on many occasions “drive-way to drive-way” when you came to visit Henry and Linda. It was a privilege to know you as I did. You were always of sharp wit and it was obvious you were a woman of strength. I remember wishing you Merry Christmas a few years back to which you promptly replied “Happy Hanukkah!”. Aleha hashalom (Peace be upon you).

Helen, our hearts are heavy and we miss you so, but we are rejoicing that you are reunited with your Peter and that he was there to lead you home. Thank you for welcoming me into your family as one of your own and for always being there as my kids grew up. See you on the other side! I love dearly. ❤️❤️❤️

I treasured your friendship down through the years. You were one tough lady and I looked to you as a model of what I wanted to be “when I grew up.” I will always remember you and Pete!!

    My dear Grandma,

I will never forget your sharp wit, your voice, and your kind words. I have so many wonderful childhood memories visiting you, like catching lightning bugs in your yard on hot summer evenings. I’m glad we always said “I love you” at the end of our phone calls. Sometimes it seemed that you would be with us forever, and there would always be time…It brings me comfort and happiness to know that Grandpa was there waiting to welcome and guide you home. What a beautiful reunion that must have been. Sending love from me here to you over there. xoxo
