James Cleveland “Bud” McNeese of Fairhope, Alabama, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Bud spent his formative years in Macon, Georgia and then went on to graduate from Presbyterian College and the University of Georgia School of Banking. His banking career spanned more than 30 years.
Bud is preceded in death by his parents, Emily Harris McNeese and James Cleveland McNeese of Tifton, Georgia, and his sister, Carol Ann McNeese Barfield of Roswell, Georgia.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cecilia “Cile” Trippe McNeese; children, Dr. Jason Trippe McNeese of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and LTC James Tucker McNeese (Joni) of Brandon, MS; grandson, Anderson Parker McNeese; granddaughters, Melissa Catherine McNeese, Amelia James McNeese, and Addison Joni McNeese; and brothers, Jackson Lee McNeese (Yvonne) and Ronald Harris McNeese of Roswell, Georgia; as well as other family members and friends.
A private family service will be held.
Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.
